This resource enables students to express their creativity through comics, allowing their stories
and ideas to come to life. When connected to the Internet (at home or school),
students can choose between different features to customize and manipulate
every aspect of their comic including characters, scenes, text and props. The
interface is simple and completely user-friendly making it perfect for student use.
Students are guided through each step and can express their creative side
without feeling like they need extensive artistic abilities.
Bitstrips for Schools allows for a safer and more secure space compared to the original Bitstrips. It puts the teacher in control of his/her class in the online world. By allowing teachers to create their own classroom portal they can create their own individual activities (or pre-made activities based on subject) to aid in the teaching of the Ontario curriculum as well as interpersonal skills. Teachers, and other classmates, can then view finished projects where they can leave comments or a laugh. Teacher's can then grade and assess student's work.

TumbleBooks can provide resources for any subject since it gives access to a variety of titles focusing on a number of topics. It is perfect for comparing and contrasting concepts/books as well as provides a number of resources for developing specific skills such as vocabulary or understanding of a story.
